Marie, three blocks from the busiest shipping channel in the world, the St. Mary's River. Central United Church celebrated its 160th anniversary in 2011. The Central United Church building is a former Methodist Church built "in the round." The sanctuary is wheelchair accessible and equipped with hearing aid assists. Come and enjoy warm fellowship, joyful worship and one of Canada's finest pipe organs, a magnificent 3300 pipe Casavant opus.

Is there Sunday School?
At 10:30 am, children are in the sanctuary for the beginning of the service, and go to Sunday School following Children's Time.
The United Church tradition is diversity. The music during worship reflects that diversity, ranging from traditional to contemporary with generous helpings of jazz and classical.
How do people dress for service?
People are welcomed in every form of dress from casual to formal business. Your attendance and participation is far more important than your apparel.
What happens after the service?
Coffee and fellowship follow the service every Sunday. Occasionally there are receptions and luncheons. A wonderful chance to mix and mingle.
